Happy Birthday Ptex!

Last night was the annual Ptex birthday blow-out. I don't know exactly how old Ptex is, and if I did know, I doubt I would be at liberty to share it with my readers. But I will say that for being over 30, he sure looks damn good! The location this year was Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village. If you were in attendance last year, then you would remember the "Seventy-Four Gang" soiree on the rooftop of Block 588 which benefited the AIDS Resource Center of Dallas. When I arrived at the function this year, the scene was a bit more tame. We were promptly ushered to the bar where the Mambo Taxis, known as the best margarita/sangria swirl in Dallas, began to flow. Gorgeous man after gorgeous man walked through the door. When all the guests arrived, I found myself to be the ONLY female in the company of all gorgeous men! Again, I keep finding myself in these great situations! Actually, I was probably the only female invited, but still relish in the opportunity to enjoy a harem of men all to myself. These guys all look after me, challenging any man I date to see if they are worthy of my affections.

The evening consisted of dinner, Mambo Taxis, and some explicit conversation - what a delectable combination! Leave it to a bunch of guys to make the dinner conversation so nasty! Benji and Jose and their fabulous selves were in attendance, as was Ptex's very handsome significant other. We took tons of pictures throughout the evening, and I will post them as soon as possible. The party of course continued on after Mi Cocina (I can only imagine where they were going next), but I regrettably had to call it a night. The social calendar is wearing me out in my old age.

Speaking of my age, there are approximately 455 days left until Ms. Kung-Fu and I turn 30! We are tentatively thinking the celebration destination is going to be Ibiza, located off the coast of Spain and known as the party capital of the world. I am certain the planning process will commence soon and I'll keep you posted.
