I had a really crappy day today, but thank goodness I had several good friends cheer me up. Between a phone call from someone very dear to me to a night out on the town, my spirits were lifted. Ms. Fabulous decided to take me out to Nobu for a little sushi and sashimi. I always get the black cod with miso which absolutely melts in your mouth every time - definitely a favorite so try it when you go there. A few friends from work showed up as well and joined us at the bar for a cocktail. It took all of about 5 minutes before Ms. Fabulous had her own signature drink at Nobu (though we both can't remember the name of it!)
When we had enough of Nobu, we headed over to our favorite bar at the moment, Sunset Lounge. The Kid and Ashton decided to join us as well. I think Ms. Fabulous and I have decided to give up medicine and become full time bartenders as we started our internship tonight! All I can say is that the Ms. Fabulous has natural wrist action for shaking martinis. We both looked too good behind the bar. It wasn't a late evening, but definitely was time well spent with good friends and was just what I needed to cheer me up tonight!
