Saturday Night Fun and Frolic

It had been a while since I had seen one of my handsome guy friends (and he is sure to get mad when he sees his picture on here!), so we decided to make a date for Saturday night. Our first stop of the evening was Nick & Sam's for a few Grey Goose and tonics, a delicious steak, and of course people watching. We sat at the bar and took in bits and pieces of various strange conversations - you have to love how silly Dallasites are sometimes. It was fun catching up on each other's lives, especially when the other person's life is more interesting than your own! Then, it was off to Medici for more people watching. It is here that I invented my new bar game. It's called "Hook-Up". Basically, you must let the group know who it is, out of only the people in your limited field of view, you would hook-up with. My handsome friend and I played the game all night, laughing at the dearth of potential hook-ups in Medici and having to get very creative with our choices. While writing this post, I am realizing the humor in the game must come only after a few cocktails!

We then ended up at a Russian Mafia party hosted by Ms. Fabulous's neighbors. She somehow convinced us that this was the happening place! I looked into the crowd and see none other than one of my interns who is obviously part of this Russian group. We couldn't help but admire all the lovely art work painted on the walls of the apartment, mainly comprising nude female bodies. What on earth were the hosts thinking with this decor???

Lately, our nights seems to eventually lead us to the Sunset Lounge. It was packed tonight. Foxy Cleopatra ventured down from North Dallas and joined us for some cocktails. We danced, we drank, and of course came to the conclusion that we were by far the most fabulous people in the place! Out of the blue, I feel someone grab my butt and turn around and see Ptex and friends had made their arrival. Finally, he had taken my advice about the Sunset Lounge and had come to check it out. The fun continued well into the wee hours of the morning and was by far one of the best nights I have had in a long while.
