The Mediterranean Feast & Wine Extravaganza

It has been a while since Bogey and I have had a wine extravaganza. In the past, we have sat atop downtown Dallas rooftops, in rustic inns in Santa Fe, in various 4-5 star restaurants where we have sampled various expensive bottles. Ever since the day he tried to kill me on the slopes of Santa Fe when he forced me to go down an expert-only black slope where I had to dodge boulders and trees while having to make very sharp turns (I'm a good skier, but not a controlled skier!), I have never really forgiven him. But, tonight was my night to take him out - which means I make him bring a great bottle of wine while I cheap out on dinner and take us to Fadi's.

Bogey and I have an unusual friendship, but somehow it has managed to last through all of my screwed up relationships. What is interesting about us is that it seems that the more we drink, the more we talk about topics such as applied mathematics, engineering/optics, real estate investing, etc - you know, the usual drinking conversations! (I love my smart friends.) We feasted on Mediterranean food tonight, and I mean feasted. I don't know how Bogey managed to eat all of this food. So I decided to poke a little fun at him and post this picture of him with his meal fit for a family of four! What a good sport the old man is!
