It was The Chin's 33rd birthday and so we were off to Mi Cocina for some Mambo Taxis and fun. We opted for a Mexican theme for the evening, given The Chin's love of Latino women! The evening started out at the bar, where out of the entire group only Ms. Fabulous was required to show an I.D. Either she looks way too young (she is almost 30) or the rest of us are all aging way too quickly. I hope it is the former. The New Yorker and friends were late, as usual, and they wouldn't seat us until the entire party had arrived. Luckily, our bitchy text messages telling them to hurry because we were starving got them moving! Leave it to the New Yorker to be an hour late (and to make Ms. Fabulous appear to be on time).

We partook in some great food and even more Mambo Taxis, despite the warning from yours truly that one drink is the equivalent of about 3 margaritas. The waiters embarrassed The Chin by singing happy birthday to him, but it was well deserved.

Our next stop of the evening was Sunset Lounge Restaurant, where our favorite bar manager Johnny was working. We opted for the V.I.P. seat for the night, so that we could people watch. I leave Ms. Fabulous and The New Yorker alone for 5 minutes and the next thing I know there are random men at our table doing shots.....those girls know how to work it!

As for the rest of the evening....well, I don't kiss and tell!
