I am now getting a regular weekend phone call from Ms. Fabulous that goes something like this:
Ms. Fabulous: "Hey, how about some karaoke tonight?"
Dr. Trouble: "Sure, but you realize we are all tone deaf."
Ms. Fabulous: "I know, but that is okay!"
Dr. Trouble: "I'll get the frozen margaritas started!"
Our little party was planned at 7:00pm and by 8:30, Lerxst and Ms. Fabulous had arrived and the blender was in full action. By 9:30, the New Yorker and her date showed up and we started burning it up on the karaoke game! Various others joined us as well, including The Chin and Mrs. Bad Relationship Karma, who wanted to pre-party with us before making her way over to the Sunset Lounge. After the first game, yours truly was the winner since Ms. Fabulous crashed and burned on the final round random song selection. I didn't feel bad for her as the same thing had happened to me on our last game when Endless Love was selected for me. The Chin, constantly refusing the mic because of his too professed tone deafness, amazed us at the end with an almost perfect rendition of Unforgettable. Lerxst too nailed the songs from the beginning, also hiding his secret singing talent. As for The New Yorker and Robin Leach...well, I believe it is best if I don't comment! Here are some action photos of the gang:

Our next stop of the evening was Sunset Lounge to meet up with some more people. We arrived at the door to find a line of about 30 people waiting to enter and Ms. Fabulous loudly declared, "We don't wait in line at Sunset Lounge!" After several attempts to enter via the backdoor were foiled by the rather large bouncers, Ms. Fabulous called Johnny (the best bartender in Dallas) and we were in. The place was packed, but we were still able to find our way to Johnny to get our usual Sunset Lounge Martinis. Mr. Bad Relationship Karma's gang had reserved the back sofa, and so we mingled near there.

It was a rare occasion for Mrs. Bad Relationship Karma to be out with us and I think she had a good time. In fact, she commented that she needed to go out more often. That prompted a look at me from Ms. Fabulous, a silent gesture to acknowledge how lame I have been these past few months by not continuing our fabulous times of fun and frolic. In all, the night was a success. We'll be doing another karaoke pre-party soon!
Question of the night: Why is Ms. Fabulous' martini glass so much bigger than mine? Do I sense a little favoritism from Dallas' best bartender"

Observation of the evening: There are some white boys who can dance!
