Toodle-oo To Tootsie!

It has been a while since I have hung out with Tootsie. I suspect that is because about a month after Robin Leach entered the picture and our relationship took off, Tootsie met someone and practically repeated the scenario. Unfortunately, he moved away shortly thereafter and her weekends have been spent dealing with a long distance relationship.

Nevertheless, we were able to go out on Thursday as the evening called for a celebration. Tootsie completed her residency and was ready to enter the medical world now with a real job and real paycheck! Dammit....yet another friend who is done with their medical training! And to make matters worse, she now has an entire month off to do absolutely nothing.

Ms. Fabulous, Cookie and I decided to take her out. Of course, Mexican was the preferred fare, and so Mattito's it was. Our plans to sit out on a patio and drink margaritas was thwarted by the weather. But we managed to have plenty of margaritas inside. We ate, drank, and talked about the last few years. Our evening was almost cut short by the death of Cookie after she ate a jalapeno. Thank goodness Ms. Fabulous was quick on her feet with ordering the sour cream.
