Wine Tasting On McKinney Ave.

It has been a quiet week for me because of circumstances that are sure to be the topic of an upcoming blog entry (I finally found a man that has intrigued me....what's that all about?). But, tonight I was going out! The New Yorker and I have been trying to go to Vino 100 all week since we both stocked up on some South African wines last weekend. A guy she knows from Austin was coming into town and so the 3 of us met up for some wine and people watching on the patio of my current favorite McKinney Ave. location. There is nothing I enjoy more than being the 3rd wheel on a date, which is what I found myself being tonight. Oh well, I guess that is what happens when you are single! Where is Ms. Fabulous when I need her?

The wine selection for the evening included "Fourplay" and "Red", with the former being chosen merely for the name (we are such suckers when it comes to marketing tactics!). Again, I was educated on the various uses of my expensive camera (I obviously don't know how to use 90% of the features!) and the special zoom feature. Why is it that every guy I meet feels the need to show me the technical uses of my digital camera and aren't content with my mere point and shoot technique???

I found myself text messaging someone all night, which is very rare for me. Hell, I don't even carry my phone with me most of the time! My friends kept making fun of me and questioned me all night who exactly the guy was. That's a good question....who is this intriguing man? I'll let you know in an upcoming blog entry.
