Is Tootsie Fling-able?

Tonight we needed a chill night as I was coming down from my week of hedonism with Kevo. My place for "chill" in Uptown is always Vino 100, so that was the venue for the evening's activities. The New Yorker and Ms. Fabulous (who surprisingly was NOT on a date) decided to come meet us as well. I called Tootsie before we left, only to find her upset about some guy that had been sending her mixed signals about their friendship/relationship. The cure for all relationship woes is to meet your best friends out and enjoy a glass of wine (or two or three) while having them tell YOU how great YOU are and how much better YOU are than the guy you think YOU like but really deep down don't. Believe me, I have been through that scenario MANY times in the past. Thus, Tootsie was forced to join us.

Tootsie made it clear that she didn't really care what the guy was looking for - a fling, a long-term relationship, a friendship, etc. All she wanted to know was which of those it was so that she what know what the heck was going on and adjust her feeling accordingly. Of course, we honed in on the first option of "fling" and then spent time discussing whether or not Tootsie was in deed "fling-able". Very few women can pull of the "fling", as we always tend to get wrapped up in emotions and want more than there really is. Tootsie probably needs a "fling", but at the end of the day I don't think it is for her. She needs a man who puts her on a pedestal and adores her and not some jerk that is just playing her.

The rest of the evening was quite humorous. Ms. Fabulous got attacked by a larger-than-human wine glass (I don't really know how that happened) and The New Yorker passed out at the bar (I think we had to carry her home!). See what happens when four fabulous women start drinking and talking about their relationship woes!
