Ashton's Beautiful Birthday Bash

Despite the fact that I worked all day and probably needed to have a relaxing evening at home, tonight I was going out! It was Ashton's 24th birthday and I wasn't going to miss this event. The itinerary for the evening: drinks at Kismet, followed by dinner at Cafe Izmir, then over to Kinky Lounge for the VIP room, a stop be the Old Crow, and finally over to Purgatory where the evening would come to an end. So many venues.....so little time!

Ms. Fabulous accompanied me as usual. It was about time we had another Girl's Night Out as we had been getting accustomed to this every weekend before Robin Leach entered the picture.

We feasted on tapas and partook in sangria while enjoying the company of Ashton's many friends. I must say that in his short time here in Dallas, the boy has met a vast array of "beautiful" people......hummmm! The New Yorker was about an hour late (actually this time she had a good excuse!) and caught the very end of dinner. Here are some pics from Cafe Izmir and Ashton enjoying his birthday dessert.

We then headed over to Kismet, where Foxy Cleopatra joined the party. Foxy has recently moved from the 'burbs to Uptown and so can now freely participate in all of our craziness without having to drive 45 min. home. And craziness it was! We met a bunch of men (all of whom we were NOT in to), drank a bunch of drinks, and danced the night away. Most of the photos need to be edited, but here is a sampling of the night's activities (G-rated).

I decided to call it an evening after Kismet at approximately 12:45 am and on a good note. As Ms. Fabulous always says, "Leave while it is good!" If you keep going to venue after venue, you will just be disappointed. Besides, my night was far from over!
