It's been rather boring in my life as of late - I have been trying to be good until April 15th when the income taxes are due and I can finally start spending money again! But, it was Saturday night and the gang decided to get together for dinner and drinks in Uptown. Our selection for the restaurant this evening: Maguire's Uptown Bar & Grill. The New Yorker, who had just returned from a little R&R in Las Vegas, and Ms. Fabulous, who had returned from a week long escape from a psychopath stalking her in Dallas (more will be shared about this in an upcoming post) decided to come along as well. It had obviously been a while since I had been to Maguire's since the menu was nothing like I had remembered and I was unable to order the entree' I had been looking forward to. Nevertheless, we call got caught up on each other's lives (and the crazy men that are in them) while enjoying a mediocre meal. The highlight of the evening was clearly partaking in the molten chocolate lava cake!
The remainder of the weekend was spent lying on my sofa, sipping Robitussin-DM and Nyquil like you would not believe and feeling like I was about to die!
