Albster returned to Dallas this weekend, bringing with him his new boyfriend Darren. I have been with Albie through all of his boyfriends, and I must say there is something special about this guy. Not only is he very HOT, but he made me laugh practically the whole weekend with his comments. Albie and I have always been critical with each other when it comes to the dating category, but with this new guy....I approve!
Friday night was decadent. Would you expect anything less from fabulous gay boys??? We started the evening at Uncle Julio's, Albster's favorite Mexican spot in Dallas. Robin Leach was there as well, eager to meet my gay ex-fiance I am sure! I think the margarita count for dinner was 3 each. But then, Darren decided to buy everyone round after round after round of shots after dinner! Frangelico, Tuaca, tequila.....who the hell knows what was consumed! But, the night was off to a fantastic start! Here are some pics of us at the bar:

It was in Darren's drunken state that he revealed the story of "The Warm Silence" and thus this became the name for the night activities. I would love to inform all of my readers what exactly a "warm silence" is, however I want to keep my website PG-13 and not jump directly to XXX! But, if you send me an email, I will let you know.
Sunset Lounge Restaurant was the next stop of the evening. If you are going to drink, might as well drink about 50 yards from your house! Albster and Darren loved my hangout as well as my favorite bartenders in all of Dallas. More shots were ordered and more wild stories were told as we partied the night away until about midnight. Here we are at Sunset:

The remainder of the night was a blur. Literally a blur. Darren raided the refrigerator throughout the night (he has a tendency to sleepwalk) as evidenced by all the spilled food and empty pudding containers I found the next morning.
The rest of the weekend was far less wild. Robin Leach and I went to the private viewing of the Sacred Maya Kingship exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art on Saturday night while the boys went to Station 4 and the other bars on Cedar Springs. On Sunday, we met up with Ptex and Ms. Fabulous for brunch at Breadwinner's.
It was good having a weekend with Albster, as he is probably the person out there that knows me the best. We have known each other for almost a decade and have been at each other's sides through college and medical school. Hopefully he'll return to Dallas someday.
