The New Yorker Misses Out!

We had been planning this night for at least a week since "the gang" had been dispersed lately - Ms. Fabulous was out-of-town and busy shopping on "Ebay", The New Yorker had been working long hours, and I had been busy playing doctor. So, tonight we decided to meet at Abacus for dinner then drinks at Vino 100. The New Yorker had a friend coming into town and thus tonight was going to the to show her a typical Dallas night out on the town. However, The New Yorker got the dates wrong and her friend was actually coming into town the following Thursday. So, instead of facing us in utter embarrassment, The New Yorker decided to bail on her own planned evening. (I have to poke a little fun at her!) As for Ms. Fabulous and I.....you could count us in!

We started out at Abacus, but forgot to take any pics. I suppose we were more focused on our meal. But, when we made it to Vino 100, the camera came out in full force. Frankly, there haven't been that many pics of us online lately and thus we have little to look at. So, we decided to make a comeback. Ashton joined us and we had picked up Foxy Cleopatra on the way. Of course we got a couple bottles of wine and played the new bar game "What is the Weirdest Name of Someone You Have Dated". Unfortunately, being Caucasian and not ethnic like Ms. Fabulous and Foxy (wait...are the Indian or Mexican?) I have not been around a lot of unusual names. But, Foxy seemed to win the contest hands down with her trio of bizarre and unusual names.

Anyway, the night was fun getting to see everyone. It had been way too long since we had all converged for a night of fun and frolic. As for The New Yorker....well, she sure did miss out!
