Moonlighting as a Beer Can?

I have seen a lot of crazy things and have had a lot of crazy friends in my 29 years. Toping that list would have to be what happened last night at Uptown Bar & Grill on McKinney Ave. Ms. Fabulous, The New Yorker and I met up for a Dallas Mavericks viewing party. We were all psyched after running into Shaquille O'Neil the previous night and were ready to cheer on our guys. As you well know, the game was a disappointment. It is still unclear how the best team in the NBA (no, it is NOT the Spurs Ms. Fabulous) could lose four straight games. Nevertheless, that did not detract from our evening. About halfway through the game, the Miller Light promoters came to the bar and started passing out free Miller Light gifts for all. As they happened to make their distribution base right next to our table, we were able to see that there was a large Miller Light can costume in their pile of props. The next thing I know, The New Yorker has gotten the job as the official Miller Light can and is up dancing around in the costume. We had to take a picture of this one. I mean, when else do you see a physician wearing a beer can surrounded by two other physicians??? And this is the sad part....none of us had anything to drink prior to this!

Apparently, The New Yorker got the job as beer can promoter. While there are those of us who do laboratory research trying to make extra spending money and advance our scientific careers, The New Yorker will be going around to various venues handing out free beer and posing in pics. You have to love her spirit!
