Girl's Night Out at Sangria

Leave it Ms. Fabulous to be able to drag me out on a Friday night (a rarity these days with my early AM schedule at work) for a Girl's Night. Actually, it didn't take a lot of coaxing on her part. I mean, last girl's night found us headlining a local newspaper as local celebrities! I left work at 7:15 pm, quickly dashed home for a change of clothes, and made my way to Sangria on Cole Ave. There I found, seated at the prime table of the restaurant thanks to some pre-planning on Ms Fabulous' part (my Martha Stewart qualities are wearing off on her), 8 gorgeous ladies already with several pitchers of sangria on the table. Within seconds, I had a glass and was enjoying a beverage on this perfect Friday night out in Dallas. It ended up being 10 of us in total, thanks to the late arrival of The New Yorker, recovering from a solid week of going out!

We dined on tapas and drank numerous pitchers of sangria, enjoying the freedom of not having the boyfriends around all the while flirting with the waiter who was attending to us hand and foot. The usual gang was there, along with a few new friends. The common denominator = we are all successful, fun, fabulous Dallas women!

Here are a couple of pics of us throughout the evening (more pics to be posted later). Note the group pic as some gentleman quickly rose to the occasion to photograph the group:

The laugh of the evening came when Ms. Fabulous handed the waiter the bill, complete with 10 credit cards. She deviously contemplated sneaking off on a fabulous shopping spree with every one's cards and we all knew it!

The group then headed out to a few more hot spots for the evening I was told. I suspect Suite or Trece was in the mix. However, The New Yorker and I were done for the night. She had to go catch up on sleep for the entire week and I had an early AM trip to go on. Nevertheless, it was a great Girl's Night. Kudos to Ms. Fabulous for being a great cruise director, though I hear rumors she is retiring from party planning!
