Last night was bittersweet as we had to say goodbye to The New Yorker. She is moving to Manhattan to begin her medical career. So, instead of sitting at home and mourning her impending loss, we decided to send her out in style with a last hurrah at Cuba Libre with plenty of mojitos and sangria. Ms. Fabulous, Robin Leach, and some of The New Yorker's many random friends were all in attendance as we sat out on the patio and enjoyed these last few hours with The New Yorker. Here are a couple of pics of us throughout the night, with the obligatory picture of The New Yorker with all of her drinks for the evening:

So, I got to thinking about what I was going to miss about The New Yorker. I will definitely miss the laughs she brought to my life - i.e when she called me up at 11:00pm telling me she forgot about her court date for a speeding ticket the next morning and that she was unable to leave work for it. I had to give her some free legal advice and suggest to her that missing your court date and having a warrant out on you (which was what she was leaning towards) was not such a good idea! I will miss her daring side, like when I dared her to dress up in a beer can at a sports bar and take pictures with people! She pounced on that opportunity. But, most of all I will just miss the fun times that we shared - countless hours at Vino 100, numerous trips shopping and hours hanging out, all those time we spent chatting about boys and such, and the fact that she was always there for me (granted, she would be an hour late, but would eventually show up!)
So, farewell to The New Yorker and good luck popping pimples and such in the Big Apple!
