Sometimes I forget that underneath that beautiful exterior of Ms. Fabulous lies a tough girl with a rather harsh tongue. She is always ready to defend herself, and to defend her friends if the need arises (the one exceptions was the Night We Do Not Speak Of when I had to do all the dirty work). Anyway, a few weeks ago I got to see her firsthand in action. Let me set the stage:
We decided to take in the DMA's member preview reception/cocktail party for the Modernism in American Silver: 20th-Century Design and Louis Comfort Tiffany: Artist for the Ages exhibitions that are currently underway. Of course, the museum is packed. We make our way over to the bar first, finding frozen bellinis to start off the evening. We then make out way over to the food table. By this point, an elderly gentleman has joined us in search of the food. We are gladly welcomed by a couple who lets us and the elderly man into the serving line. Little did we know that there was in fact another line we were supposed to be in.
It is at this point that a rather rotund woman says to Ms. Fabulous with a sneer

Kudos to Ms. Fabulous for putting snotty, obnoxious people in their places!

She's evil!
Also, could you please enlighten me on the best strip club in Dallas? Maxim says it's the Lodge, but my box of tampons says it's the Men's Club. Which of these sources is the most reliable regarding entertainment for straight men?
Why is the Dallas Observer writing about the Beautiful Party?
